Return to the top In parallel with the upgrading of the Expressway and rural service fleets, we continue to upgrade the school transport fleet by the transfer of the rural service buses, which are being replaced and the input of new dedicated school buses.
This has improved the quality and reliability of the school bus fleet.
For over 80 years, the national bus network has been an essential and integral part of Ireland's transport infrastructure.
We are continuing to build on that tradition of public service and transport expertise to give Ireland a bus and coach system of which we can be justly proud in the new millennium.
Our 150 strong Expressway fleet delivers services every day across our national inter-city route network while the remainder provide rural, city and commuter services on behalf of the National Transport Authority across the Greater Dublin Area and in key regional cities and towns.
